This is my first webpage and I have chosen to keep it simple(ish).
I am a new convert to the world of science fiction having only read
my first novel in the Autumn of 2002. I was instantly hooked. I had mistakenly
regarded sci-fi as a lesser being compared to mainstream thriller, crime,
horror and fantasy; my unfortunate loss. Since that first novel I have read nothing
but science fiction and never looked back. My reviews are undoubtedly
biased and flavoured by more recent publications. However, they are honest
and I am not a man easily influenced by bestsellers or awards novels' may have won.
I do care about an engrossing story which can vary from any theme
in the sci-fi spectrum, from aliens & alternate histories to social
meltdown & space opera. Some fantasy novels have also been reviewed.
